A USD 2000 prize will be awarded to the best photography book of the year. Thirty finalist books will be selected for the exhibition during the FOLA CLAP Fair event, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
FOLA Fototeca Latinoamericana, is a space dedicated to photography. Fola was founded in 2015 as a non-profit organization and is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Our mission is to promote photography through exhibitions, publications, awards, portfolio reviews and residencies.

Delivery:
Send your photobook(s) with your printed submission-receipt(s) via DHL, FEDEX, UPS, TNT, EMS or any other courier company and add the tracking number to the application. Additionally you can deliver the book in person during business hours at Fola reception Regular mail won't be accepted due to customs delays in Argentina

Gonzalo Golpe is an art editor and teacher. Specialized in coordination and graphic production. He holds a degree in Hispanic Philology and graduated in Editing and Publication at the University of Deusto. From 2010-2103 he managed Siete de un golpe, an atellier focused in self-publishing and graphic production of photobooks and exhibitions. He is a member of La Troupe, a colective of professionals in the editing and production of author works.
Alex Bocchetto is a photo editor, book designer, self-taught bookbinder and a publisher. In 2012, London, he established with Valentina Abenavoli the photobook and artist books publishing house AKINA which as of today has printed more than 20 titles. Beside the publishing house, he has a passion for intensive workshops, lectures and teaching.
Pablo Cabado is a photographer, His work has been shown in the U.S., France, Italy, Spain, Cuba, Mexico, Peru and Argentina, He was recipient of the Young Photographer of the Year award from the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York City, the Mother Jones Documentary Photography Award and the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship.
Mónica Pujol Design PhD. She has founded and is currently Secretary of Management of DISUR "Network of Design Careers in Latin American Public Universities". In the academic area, currently she is a Director of the "Postgraduate in Strategic Design for Innovation" of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies at the National University of Rosario, and Professor-Researcher at the University of Buenos Aires. Her professional work has focused on the area of Strategic Design for the public sector, advising in the last 20 years several Ministries, Secretariats and National Organisms.
